Konsert Hari Wilayah 2007

Sempena dengan Sambutan Perayaan Hari Wilayah Persekutuan 2007, satu konsert akan diadakan pada tarikh, masa dan tempat seperti yang berikut:

Tarikh: 3 Februari 2007 (Sabtu)
Masa: 9.00 malam
Tempat: Taman Tasik Titiwangsa Kuala Lumpur

Konsert Hari Wilayah 2007 ini akan menampilkan barisan artis-artis terkenal tanahair seperti Mawi, M.Nasir, Lefthanded, Farhan AF4, Haziq AF4, Ekin AF3, Yogi B & Nachatra, S.H.E, Panca Sitara, Betty Benafe, Musly Ramlee, Maya, Aziz Satar dan Yusni Jaafar. Konsert yang dianjurkan bersama oleh Kementerian Wilayah Persekutuan dan DBKL dengan kerjasama Persatuan karyawan akan diiringi oleh Orkestra Kuala Lumpur, DBKL.

Sehubungan dengan itu, orang ramai adalah dijemput hadir untuk menyaksikan konsert PERCUMA ini pada tarikh, masa dan tempat seperti yang dinyatakan.

Special Komuter Pass For Tourists

KTM Bhd has introduced a special tourist pass for travel on KTM Komuter during Visit Malaysia 2007.  

The KTM Komuter Tourist Pass is for unlimited travel on KTM Komuter for one day to any destination within the network. 

KTM marketing manager Mohd Noordin Kimi said travellers could now visit places without the hassle of having to purchase tickets for different destinations.

This is a revision of the earthquake information issued at 5.55 am. A strong earthquake has occurred with these revised parameters: Time of Occurrence : 5.37 am on 31 January 2007 Coordinates : 21.1 North 145.1 East Location : Near Mariana Island, 2576km Northeast of Cebu, Philippines, 3370km Northeast of Sandakan. Magnitude : 6.9 on Richter scale Assessment Very small possibility of local tsunami near earthquake centre. No tsunami threat to Malaysia.

KTMB Offers Special Discounts In Conjunction With Matta Fair 2007

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will offer special discounts and its latest package – “KTM Komuter Tourist Pass” – in conjunction with the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) Fair 2007 to be held in March.

Marketing Manager of Intercity Service of KTMB Strategic Business Unit, Mohd Noordin Kimi, said KTMB would offer Matta Fair visitors a 25 per cent reduction on tickets to all destinations, including Singapore, for three months from the launch date of the fair.

This year’s Matta Fair is scheduled for three days from March 16 at the Putra World Trade Centre here.

M’sians Spend RM101.5 Per Month On Sending SMSes

Malaysians outdo Filipinos and Indonesians in sending short-messaging services (SMS). They spend an average RM101.5 a month on sending SMSes.

An international IT service company, LogicalCMG, via its consumer research by Ipsos MORI, found that Malaysians are heavy users of SMS and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Services), thus leading the region in their use of the services.

“The survey findings show Malaysian consumers send on average 17 text messages a day,” it said in a statement.
